I've hit the ground at 60 Km/h (40 mph) and skidded at least 20 metres on my side.
My left trouser leg was trapped under the foot rest.
My own fault!!

All I had after was a couple of minor bruises,
written-off helmet, jacket, pants, and a pretty well scratched and bent bike.
hat was 5 years ago on a Suzi GN125, just after I re-started riding.
Luckily I was a sucker for a sales-pitch in this case!
Boots and gloves were leather the rest all-weather (coratex it's called here)
with various kevlar bits.

Even when it's 35 deg here I wear this kit, without it I would have spent a few wekks in hospital!
Sometimes I open the top end of the zip and leave the pant bottoms unzipped, but that's it.

I don't know you lot personally, but I know from this forum that you're all worth knowing.
Look after yourselves and keep the rubber side down!!

PLEASE!
Bob
